Depends on your luck buddy. Generally CBP does not have time to bug every traveler to put in a secondary check and do a whole research. But sometimes they do randomly or by targeting certain people. CBP also does put people into Secondary check if the story does not make sense during the primary check. Not only it is about the matter of officers descretion, sometimes their system also flags the traveler to do a bit research.

Is this nepali citizen or chinese. One possible reason could be because she had 10 years B1 visa which is not given to any nepali citizen or if she is Chinese citizen then I think Trump stop giving 10 years B1 visa to chinese. Jay Nepal
