It's amazing how rapidly even the first generation Nepalese folks have integrated into American society. I go to a Nepalese functions and hardly notice anyone I used to know from the eighties attending the local Nepalese functions. I wonder where they go? I called some of my friends and to my surprise, they say, you are where? Attending what? Not cool huh. I guess everyone changes over time and the integration is not necessarily a bad thing. If you look at the event pictures from various functions, you see the same faces for a while and slowly replaced by the new comers. I hope I am over generalizing this assimilation trend for I wish to see same old people participating in Sajha.
