Here is a facebook application that allows you to do protests, and do various actions like throwing tomatoes and shoes, or maybe some decent ones like lighting a candle. Check it out: http://apps.facebook.com/protestsnepal

The application is based entirely upon our right to protest without infringing upon the rights of those who choose to think otherwise. When you burn a tyre here, no one inhales the acrid fumes. When you stage a demonstration, no one gets stuck in a traffic jam. And when you throw a stone, it doesn’t harm anyone. But you still make your point. And that’s the point!

you can initiate anything ..
Some people tried to do 'facebook blackout' about a month ago. There was this group of same name. It tried to make people not use facebook for a whole day. The project was quite unsuccessful ... people are so much addicted to facebook.

from the few days of survey ... i did notice that users did not see that they can initiate protests of their own. i think i might do some design changes on it. Any comments ... and i would be very grateful.
